"Hello, I'm Carly Bayford, a UK based, independent funeral celebrant
I cover Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and my South London hometown (I'm happy to conduct ceremonies anywhere south of the river).
Before I trained as a funeral celebrant, I spent 10 years working in digital marketing within the construction industry, travelled solo around South East Asia and Australia and studied law".
Happiest in nature, with coffee
I am most fulfilled in a room full of my favourite people, watching my cousins blow out their birthday candles, or showing my nieces and nephews how to plant seeds, or helping them pick strawberries, or watching my stepfather at work, in awe as he creates 'something from nothing' using old pallets, in his overgrown, yet pretty garden.
In 'my time' you'll find me near water; canals, rivers, lakes or out to sea; somewhere the WiFi doesn't reach. At home I love long walks in the countryside with my German Shepherd Dog, Lola.
By sunset, I'll be enjoying asian food, a deep and meaningful conversation with friends or enjoying live music - occasionally heading off to learn salsa dancing or do something more upbeat.
